$19M in new developments at Memphis Agricenter

Two expansion projects at Memphis’ Agricenter International totaling more than $19 million are set to break ground on April 1.

Bayer CropScience is investing $17 million in new greenhouses and other research facilities around its current Smythe Farm Road location, according to the Commercial Appeal. The project will more than double the current Bayer facility’s size.

Helena Chemical will also expand its Agricenter presence with its own $2.2 million expansion. Helena says it will it will convert some of its current space into offices for 25 new employees.
